Ms. Lauryn Hill will headline a star-studded line-up at The Downs Festival this August.
Taking over Clifton Downs once again on the 31st August, the festival welcomes Hill as their first ever female and international headliner. The Hip-Hop legend shot to fame as a founding member of The Fugees, before releasing her seminal, Grammy Award winning album ‘The Miseducation Of…’ in 1998.
Joining her will be another icon in Grace Jones. With a career spanning over four decades, Jones has been a revered mainstay in mainstream music, ever progressing from her introduction as a staple of Disco.
Alongside them, Idles will play their biggest Bristol show to date following a second sold-out world tour which has seen them takeover the US and Asia. Loyle Carner returns to Bristol perhaps with some much anticipated new music, and Neneh Cherry joins the bill following the release of her new album Broken Politics in 2018.
