Bristol’s riffiest four-piece No Violet are back today with killer new single ‘Lemons’ – the first bitter taste of what they’ve been up to since their stunning debut EP ‘Faces’ from last year.

The track – which was honed on the band’s recent tour of Europe – reels you in at first with Ellie Godwin’s soft vocals and delicate guitar weaving a dreamy web before it suddenly turns a whole lot darker. The track takes all the elements that blew us away on ‘Faces’ – the math-infused guitars, caustic vocals and unpredictability – and turns them all up to the max, showing a band growing in confidence.

No Violet are currently out on the road, bursting the ear-drums of venues up and down the country, but you can catch them at The Sebright Arms, London on the 8th, The Boileroom, Guildford on the 11th, The Moon, Cardiff on the 13th and finally at their homecoming at Rough Trade Bristol on the 16th.
