Samphire Festival is a festival with a difference. Their ethos lies in promoting emerging talent while also giving their attendees plenty of activities to sink their teeth into. Founded by couple Flora Blathwayt and Josh Beauchamp, the festival raised a mammoth £43,000 on Kickstarter and went on to win Best Small Festival at the 2016 NOEA Awards.
It’s no surprise considering their attention to detail. With an intimate capacity of 1,000, festival-goers can enjoy a carefully curated line-up as well as giant human snakes and ladders, talks, films, yoga, wild adventures and samphire foraging amongst other activities.
Taking place on July 7th – July 9th in the stunning surroundings of Exmoor Park, this year also sees the introduction of The Club House, where you can take part in fun immersive games and theatre throughout the weekend.
Crazy P, The Correspondents and Resonators have been booked as headliners, while previous BLM cover stars Flamingods will also be showcasing their acclaimed live set. You can also expect soul from Jack Tyson Charles and The Langan Band as well as synth pop from BLM’s favourite duo Ardyn. You can see the full line-up below.
With tickets starting at just £80, you’d be silly to miss out on this rare gem. Head to the Samphire Festival website to bag a ticket before they inevitably sell out! In the meantime, check ouT Flamingods ‘Mixed Blessings’ below.
