7th December | Rough Trade
When Etta Bond spoke to our sibling publication, London in Stereo, earlier this year, she was a beacon of liberating positivity. It wasn’t in that mindlessly encouraging way that many people adopt that suggest you can do whatever you want, more a rallying call to be more present, to be clear-headed and to be honest. Words like ‘art’, ‘humour’, ‘wit’, ‘love’ and ‘depth’ were concepts that rang out loud and clear then and ones that could be felt in abundance in her performance at Rough Trade recently. Alesha Hickmans was on hand to immortalise proceedings in photographic form.
