It’s here! The line up! Yes that one! The BBC 6 Music one! That’s happening in Bristol! Over the weekend of the 12th February till the 14th! The one you wanted to go to! IT’S HERE!

As you can see from our excitement, this year’s BBC 6 Music festival is pretty great. Announced live on air this morning by the stations stalwart DJ’s Lauren Laverne, Mark Radcliffe and Stuart Maconie, this year’s line-up is huge, adding to the already ridiculous prospect of Primal Scream, Tricky and Roni Size.

Taking place over the weekend, spread over the o2, Colton Hall and Motion, the city will play host to Bloc Party, Yeasayer, Roots Manuva, Foals and Underworld as well as literally, loads loads more. Seriously, it’s a ridiculous list.

You’ll be able to purchase tickets from the BBC 6 Music website soon. The only downside is that there is no weekend pass; you will have to buy a separate ticket for each venue on each day. If that all seems a bit much though, there will be so much more on offer over the city as most other venues will be throwing their doors open to take part in the Fringe festival.
