Bristol based label Art is Hard records have announced an all-dayer in celebration of their 7th birthday.
They’ve promised 25 bands across three stages, one boat and a (hopefully) sunny Bristol harbourside. Taking place on Sunday 27th August, the first acts announced are Best Friends, Girl Ray, Personal Best, Happyness and Two White Cranes. And if you’re worried about a sore head come Monday morning, you’ll be pleased to know that the 28th is a bank holiday!
“Hardly A Party is an exact replica of the model event we’ve been hosting since we were 17 year olds in an abandoned seaside town,” explains co-founder Richard Walsh. “Thanks to some wonderful venues and bands that’ve become dear friends, we present the largest format yet across three stages in our favourite city, the city we call home; Bristol. Some mega headliners, special surprises and superb Art Is Hard alumni (25 act total) are yet to be announced!”
You can get your hands on an early bird ticket now, priced at an incredibly reasonable £12. There’s only 20 early bird tickets available so grab them while you can. Once they’re sold out, tickets go up to £18 and then finally, £20.
