Of Irish decent but having grown up in Bristol; the now London based Thurlow sisters formed grunge-shoegaze two-piece 2:54 (named after “The bit that gets good” in a Melvin’s song) in early 2010 catching media attention shortly after releasing demos online, resulting in tours with big names such as Warpaint, The XX and the Maccabees.
Newly announced signings with Bella Union, the girls are due to embark on a ten-date UK tour commencing this November in support of their upcoming album with the indie label. Of course, 2:54 are due to visit Bristol’s Louisiana on November 25th
