When it comes to music of style and cognisant artistic direction, look no further than London’s four-piece purveyors of modernist pop Woman’s Hour. Currently on tour across Europe including a recently sold out show at London’s Purcell Rooms, they’re quickly becoming one of this year’s most talked about bands.
Signed to Secretly Canadian, siblings Fiona (Vocals) and William Jane (Guitar), along with Nick (Bass) and Josh (Keyboards) are gearing up for their debut album ‘Conservations’, set for release on July 14th.
Their spine-tingling sound with multiple layers and dimensions, flickering bass lines, delicate guitar work and Fiona’s distant and chilling vocals has received acclaim from the likes of Pitchfork, The Fader, Line of Best Fit and Radio 1’s Huw Stephen and Rob da Bank.
Woman’s Hour will be sparkling up Bristol on May 7th over at the Louisiana. Tickets are available here.
