A black satin glove up to the elbow of a writhing, tattooed arm. A flounce of white maribou feathers. A piece of fabric billowing around a mysterious silhouette.
These are the exciting tasters we’ve been given in a short video promoting the next Thorny night on 16th September. A fabulous evening that celebrates Bristol’s queer culture, previous Thorny bashes have incorporated drag poetry and performance and an eclectic line-up of musicians and artists. And this next installment certainly looks like it won’t disappoint, with local favourites Wenonoah, Oliver Wilde and Yama Warashi bringing their unique magic to this darkly glamorous stage, followed by DJs ‘til late.
