Bristol Harbour Festival is taking place across three miles of the harbour side this year, and across the July weekend Thekla will celebrate the 60th anniversary of the boat being built in 1958 with two stages packed with music. With the festival just over a month away, the venue have now announced the acts playing their Cargo Hold and Dockside stages on Friday 20th to Sunday 22nd.
Showcasing some of the South West’s fast rising artists, the venue will welcome Bath’s indie favourites Farebrother, the soulful jams of Joe Probert, the searing noise of The St.Pierre Snake Invasion and the lackadaisical psych pop of Cousin Kula.
They are joined by No Violet, who recently announced their new EP is set to be released on leisure Records. Harvey Causon adds another stellar festival set to his belt and Wych Elm return from the studio to tear summer apart and make it their own.
This is just a small handful of the acts playing across the weekend, with Poisonous Birds, 4th Project, Tungz and Stone Cold Fiction all also joining the bill. It’s a fantastic line-up for a free entry festival. See the full line-up poster below.
