Rough Trade Bristol will open on 11th December on Nelson Street, RT announced today.
Since the recent news of Rise Bristol’s evolution into a Rough Trade store – and subsequent stop-gap at their ‘pop-up’ – Bristol had been wondering when and where the eventual home would be appearing. Well wonder no more, and feast your eyes on the upcoming season of in-stores to boot:
IDLES | Saturday 16th December 2017
The Go! Team | Monday 22nd January 2018
Django Django | Wednesday 24th January 2018
Field Music | Tuesday 6th February 2018
Hookworms | Saturday 10th February 2018
That’s right, our own IDLES will be the first to play, a welcome local touch from the well-known London-based independent retailer. The store will in fact feature a dedicated live room, as well as a café, bar and more.
As some may already know, Rise joined forces with Rough Trade a few years ago, and as such the new store will be staffed by the existing Queens Road team you know and love.
You’ll be able to pick up regular records of course, but also CDs, Rough Trade exclusives and limited editions, books, turntables, speakers and more. Customers spending over £15 during the store’s first week can expect a month’s free membership to their monthly vinyl club.
