We’ve heard rumblings for a while now, but Bristol’s Oliver Wilde has today announced the release of his new album, titled Post-Frenz Container Buzz (a very Oliver Wilde album title). The album, his third full length, will be released on February 17th through Howling Owl. You can see the artwork below.

Along with the announcement Oli has also shared a new track, the wonderfully named ‘You’re So Kool-Aid’. Like the previous track he’s released from the project, ‘You’re So Kool-Aid’ is clears away some of the fuzz that usually inhabits Oliver Wilde’s sound. The catchy, simple synth line is possibly Oli’s biggest earworm yet; combine this with the song’s fast tempo and singable chorus, and ‘You’re so Kool-Aid’ is the most pop driven Oli has been yet.

Oliver Wilde will be playing Thekla to coincide with the tracks release on February 24th. Check out the event and buy tickets here.
