20th, 21st and 22nd January | Arnolfini

Howling Owl Records are back with their fourth instalment of New Year/New Noise, returning to Arnolfini to eliminate any January blues we may be experiencing.

The annual event has gone from strength to strength dating back to their first edition in 2014, and this year promises to be bigger and better than before. The label has become an integral part of Bristol’s music scene since distributing their one off compilation tape in 2011; then evolving to releasing music on vinyl, tapes and even the occasional skateboard deck.

The full programme takes place over the course of three days showcasing performances and discussions throughout the weekend. Arnolfini’s own Dune Series kick off the weekend on the Friday, followed by performances from Klein and Agatha. Saturday see’s music from Girl Band, Silver Waves, Asda and Yama Warashi. Panel discussions take place on the Sunday featuring the likes of Noods Radio and BBC Introducing in the West – chatting about the New Wave of internet stations changing the way artists react with radio.

You can find the full programme here and there are still a few tickets to grab here. Check out ‘Mark Of Worship’ from Klein below.
