12th October | The Island

Goodness is a fast-rising collective from all around the UK who are making their name hosting parties and nights across the UK to increasingly receptive crowds. Formed by like-minded DJs, promoters and music aficionados, also from across the UK, the project is welcomingly open to new ideas and progression of their aesthetic. This was further cemented by their announcement of this event in Bristol, making their mark on the city for the first time.

Taking place this Friday at The Island, the event will engage with some of the sharpest and most progressively melodic electronic sounds blossoming within the country, whilst maintaining a passionately individual mindset. Heading up the night is Overmono, the highly-respected project of Tessela & Truss, who have in the last couple days released a enticing new 12″ EP on their own Poly Kicks imprint. Their experimentation with intense and infectious techno will display wholly the breadth which the artists and promotion want to explore.

Alongside them is Happa – the infuriatingly prolific project of Samir Alikhanizade – whose skittish and arresting techno is really making a name for itself, and the excellent Ifeoluwa, whose eclectic sets, engaging workshops and consistently refreshing radio shows and mixes display a passion that is difficult to match.
