6th May | Stag and Hounds & Exchange

Deadpunk Festival returns this weekend for its sixth installment, taking place across three mini-venues in Bristol – the Exchange, and upstairs and downstairs of the Stag and Hounds. Despite all the excitement surrounding the festival, the occasion also marks a final goodbye to the much-loved Stag and Hounds venue, who sadly announced it’s closure back in March this year, stating that their ‘final weekend’ will be from May 26th to May 28th.

Starting at 11am on May 6th, the ‘Last Deadpunk Special (Kinda)’ hosts a wealth of local and across-the-pond musical talent, including entertainment from punk-pop London trio The Tuts, lo-fi Leeds quartet Crumbs, and indie pop-rock favourites Happy Accidents. The Stag and Hounds’ upstairs line-up will include an acoustic performance from shoegaze ‘dreamo’ outfit Honey Pot, while downstairs showcases talent in the form of US fuzz-punk duo Slingshot Dakota and Riot Grrrl two-piece Kamikaze Girls. Other highlights set to perform at the all-day event include Haters, No Weather Talks, Martha, Austeros and Spoilers.

A warm-up show will take place tonight from 7pm at the Exchange, featuring live sets from Grafteokie, Onsind, Airstream Future and Fight Rosa Fight! Tickets for both events are available via Deadpunk Promotions.
