Having migrated into central Bristol from its former outpost at Ashton Court, Brisfest has morphed into Brisfest Soundscape, a celebration of the ludicrous amount of musical talent across the city and the South West.

Centred on the Bridewell Complex of the Island/The Station/Old Crown Court, the festival will also take place at iconic venues including The Exchange, The Stag and Hounds and The Louisiana this Saturday (30th July).

Alongside long-time Bristol heavyweights Smith and Mighty, and contributions from the likes of Kahn, Eva Lazarus and Spectres, the one-day event will feature emerging bands from across the musical spectrum, taking in everything from dubstep and hip hop to reggae, funk and noise.

With a £15 wristband getting you into all venues throughout the day and night, if you’re in Bristol this weekend it would be a bit silly not to go.
